Highly Skilled Migrant Portal launched
The Highly Skilled Migrant Program was established by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 6, 2024, in order to expand the pathways for highly skilled foreigners and stateless persons to engage in paid labor activity in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The program offers extensive opportunities for highly skilled migrants and their family members to come to Azerbaijan, live in the country, and engage in labor activities.
The Portal, the main service channel of the program, operates in four languages - Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish and English - in order to serve a wider audience. The Portal also enables the sharing of professional profiles of highly qualified migrants upon their consent, thereby facilitating the more efficient search for personnel that meet the needs of employers.
